Who will care for My Baby While I Am in a Worship Service?
Each of our volunteers has completed our Parkview Membership class and undergone a background check with extra training that emphasizes our safety and security policies. This detailed process ensures that we will provide your child with the best possible care in a safe and secure child-friendly environment.
How do I Check in My Baby?
At the time of check-in, a loving and trained volunteer leader will greet you. You will be asked to provide us with a phone number for a cell phone that you have in your possession. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message. (Remember to leave your cell phone on vibrate/silence during the service.) If your child cries, our caring volunteer leaders will immediately soothe your child. If your child cries for an extended period of ten minutes, we will text you. You and your child will receive a check-in tag specifically created for your child. To ensure their security, your child will not be released without presentation of your corresponding tag.
What do I Bring?
Please label all personal items with your child's first and last name before arriving at your child's class. For the safety of our children, all 2 year olds must be wearing shoes to enter the program.
Two disposable diapers or pull ups. Please no cloth diapers.
Pacifier, lovey, or other comfort item.
A complete change of clothes, including a sweater or jacket in cool weather. We often take our 2 year olds to the outdoor playground.
A bottle or cup of milk, formula, juice or water. (this is a good practice even for mothers who nurse.)

What Will My Baby Do While I Am at the Worship Service?
Our weekend program is organized into the following structure: Play Time/Learning Centers, Bible Story and Bible Verse, Sing-a-Long and Craft/Snack. Your child (except infants) may even get a buggy ride! Our Toddler program includes an “indoor” playground for their enjoyment and your 2 year old will be on a rotation schedule to use the outdoor playground.
What Snacks are Available for My Child?
Our Children’s Ministry Center is a peanut-free environment. Snacks are provided for your child once they graduate to the Crawler classroom. Please inform the leader if your child has any allergies.
What is Parkview's Well-Child Policy?
We operate a well-child environment. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep our Parkview Babies program a healthy place!
What Will My Child Do During a Worship Service?
Our weekend program is organized into the following structure: Play Time/Learning Centers, Bible Story and Bible Verse, and then travel to "Tribal Council" for large group interactive Sing-a-Long Worship and to watch a teaching DVD that reinforces the Bible Story. Upon returning to their classroom, your child will enjoy a fun craft. Your child will also visit the playground, weather permitting, on a rotational schedule. Please send a sweater or jacket on cooler days.
On occasion, a snack or treat will be provided (such as “Goldfish.”) Please inform the leader if your child has an allergy. Please do not bring treats or drinks from home. We are a peanut-free Children’s Ministry Center.
